To become a school bus driver with Suffolk Transportation Services, Inc., you must be 23 years of age and a licensed driver in the U.S. for a minimum of 3 years. A learner’s permit is required for a CDL license. To apply for a CDL permit, a NYS driver license (class D, class E, or Non-CDL C) or a valid CDL from another state.
